I love social media and networks not just for its cool UI and logical features but for how it brings people in contact with each other and the amount of networking possibilities it provides.
Think business and there is LinkedIn, there is Facebook for casual networking and then there is twitter to yap and blabber your brain very neat and sweet.
People are what make a society and through connection, partnership and participation. I see that in social networking through exchange of thoughts, messages, collaborations etc…
Finding business interests, friends, dates, people, companies, and information was never this easy. More connection can only mean more interaction and interaction is good. Discretion in disclosing certain information to certain people is what you need to take care of rest is always like pleasure having you in my network. For me “First Degree Contact is always good”.
Sometimes I see bias(i think so) like am too good to be in your network or I am a girl how dare you, I would say take it easy after all this is a virtual connect and if there were a interaction it would take two . So here I am saying Hi!!
PS: end of the day you are connecting with people and they have their own inhibitions and POV so best of luck and happy networking.But that doesn’t mean that you add people for heck sake have some motive like maybe she is very beautiful so why not connect
