Emotive-!

Emotive means Characterized by, expressing, or exciting emotion…

Emotive is a very important part of a product packaging and innate to new media products. it is essential to consider emotive when readying a product for live environment, the context and content is used to define the character of emotive that will be instilled into your product, it is more of a process which anchors itself in context of the product life-cycleand offering. So defining the emotive needs to deliver the right experience becomes the key.

There are various stages when emotive is used to keep the user well served. Making the connection with the target user is business karma. In each of you interactions predefined or real-time a business will need to incorporate necessary emotive gestures. End of the day your product is being used by humans.

Be it any stage of online or new media business you will find yourselves in one way or the other using emotive.From promoting to communicating apology. Human that we are will always be intrigued delighted, angered and let down by things. So if your product is responsible for any of these reactions in your target user make sure you negotiate the reaction-emotion with grace and best manner possible. The only connection is your product and so it better be emotive equipped. May be you can communicate your best with modesty or Say sorry with panache and then Communicate what you yearn from the user. Also considering aesthetic alignment & figure (architecture) through emotive POV is not a bad ploy it will ensure a very happy customer experience.

PS: don’t try to do too much or try to be target bias. It is about finding out  interaction points and making sure your product interacts properly. After all it is nice to see a twitter page conveying sorry with “fail whale”.
